lush fizzbanger bath bomb

Fizzbanger - £3.25
When I popped into Lush a few weeks ago for some treats I asked a member of staff for some recommendations as it can sometimes feel a little bit overwhelming trying to pick out new things to try from Lush. I knew I wanted some bath products as I was running low & I wanted to buy something I hadn't used before. I was drawn to Fizzbanger because of its scent, a fresh citrus apple kinda smell which I thought would be nice for a Summer evening bath. I don't like baths when it's warm but I get really achey so a bathbomb that smelt of Summer seemed perfect for when I need to soak my muscles & relax! Fizzbanger is absolutely crammed full of popping candy so when you drop it into your bath it goes off like a firework, which is pretty cool! As it is fizzing around & crackling it turns your bath a colourful mixture of yellow, blue & greens & spouts out a few bubbles too! The ingredient petitgrain used in this bath bomb is said to relieve anxiety too so if you're feeling stressed this will help you calm down. It's not the most exciting bath bomb to look at, a big yellow ball but I often find some of the more "boring" looking ones end up producing the nicest baths!
Have you tried Fizzbanger?

lush treats

Now I work full time 9-6 every day I am so so tired & literally have no time to myself, so when I got off the train at Waterloo & spotted the Lush store I headed straight there to pick up a few treats! All I knew was I wanted some pretty looking, sweet smelling bath bombs to be able to relax in a hot bubbly bath in the evenings after a long day. Also I felt it was completely necessary to buy some bath treats as I've moved to a flat where I finally feel comfortable actually having a bath... living in a mouse-infested/messy/smelly student house I just couldn't bring myself to sit in the grim looking bath, no matter how much bleach or cleaning products I used there was just no way!

I chose Tisty Tosty, Butterball & Creamy Candy. I told the sales assistant I was after a vanilla scented bath bomb so she directed me to Butterball which is filled with cocoa butter too, perfect to protect my skin. Tisty Tosty was recommended to me by the sales assistant, I'm not usually a fan of floral scented products but this isn't too overpowering & the super cute heart shape filled with little rosebuds won me over anyway! Finally creamy candy bubble bar is a Lush item I've wanted to try for so long but because I'm not a bath person I've never got round to it! The scent is quite similar to Snow Fairy my all time favourite shower gel (still got a mini backup of this!) but a little more vanilla-ry, an added bonus! Now I've got to decide which one to use first... Has anyone tried any of these bath treats!?

I'm off to go finish making the roast dinner for Dom & I, then it is time for Tilly's evening walk & bath! Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday evening!

LUSH golden wonder bath bomb

Golden Wonder - £3.25

Lush products are perfect for pampering yourself with on a lazy Sunday afternoon, whether it's using one of their fresh face masks or dropping a fizzing bath bomb into a warm bath! I decided to have a browse in Lush a couple of weeks ago after hearing the Christmas range had launched in store as I wanted to experience the excitement everyone seemed to have for these products! Of course I was absolutely spoilt for choice & spent ages umming & ahhing over which item to purchase, in the end I chose Golden Wonder & a small bottle of the Snow Fairy Shower Gel, but I am already planning my next Lush purchase...

Golden Wonder is a parcel shaped bomb with a fresh citrus smell, of orange, cognac & lime oils, that leaves a fruity scent lingering around the room. An extra to this christmassy treat is the rattle of a surprise inside, we are all guilty of shaking our gifts to try & guess whats it might be, right!?

When I dropped it under running water it began dissolving & fizzing into golden bubbles, which soon turned into a purple & blue mix of colour.

Finally, the bath bomb had finished fizzing away & released lots of tiny golden stars & plenty of glittery shimmer.

My skin has been left lovely & smooth, with no glittery sparkles left behind in my bath or on my skin! I will definitely be stocking up on a few of these before the Christmas season is over, have you tried anything from the Christmas range?
