A Skincare Routine With Jurlique

Jurlique Skincare Routine, Jurlique Skincare Review, Jurlique Blog Review, UK Blogger, Liverpool Blogger,
Jurlique is a skincare brand that have always been on my radar because of their cult product amongst bloggers, the Rosewater Balancing Mist, yet I hadn't really much experience of them myself. Jurlique have recently opened a lovely new counter in the Chester Debenhams store so I was invited along to see it for myself & have a skincare consultation.

The Blogger Sleepover

A couple of weeks ago I was invited along to The Blogger Programme Sleepover with my besties Becca, Jodes & Gee. The sleepover was hosted in the most amazing 3 bedroom suite, Taj 51 Buckinghamgate, I had a real 'pinch me is this real life moment' because it was such a dream to be staying there. Everything about the hotel was perfect, from the beautiful Blossom Tree & water fountain (fun fact - it was gifted by Queen Victoria!) in the grounds, to the most attentive & friendly staff I'd be honoured to stay here again. I was treated like royalty for a weekend.

The Highlighter Palette You Need In Your Life

UK Beauty Blogger, Liverpool Beauty Blogger, Liverpool Blogger, Beauty Blog, Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette,
This little beauty has been my go-to highlighter for several months & even during my "blogging break" it was always on my mind to share this palette on here. The Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette is contained within a luxe rose gold compact, making it hard to believe that it retails for under £10. The four shades are all equally as dreamy, with one cream formula, two baked powders & one silky shimmer.

Hello Kitty Tangle Teezer

UK Beauty Blogger, Liverpool Beauty Blogger, Hello Kitty Tangle Teezer, Tangle Teezer Review,
In my teens I was that girl obsessed with Hello Kitty, you name it & I most probably had the merchandise! As I'm sure you can imagine I was estatic when I was invited to the Hello Kitty x Tangle Teezer launch, being given the opportunity to have afternoon tea with Hello Kitty was like having all my teenage dreams granted at once.
The Hello Kitty collaboration comes in two colours, black & pink, both with an adorable polka dot print & of course the sweetest Hello Kitty design. I can't actually decide which is my favourite though, I'm a lover of all things girly & pink but also a big fan of monochrome too. The Tangle Teezer Compact Stylers are a handbag essential for me, the protective cover ensures the bristles don't get damaged so I can conveniently keep my hair knot free whilst on the go.
Since discovering Tangle Teezer I've never used another brush, with my hair being so thick & frizzy they make brushing my hair much easier & completely pain-free. I'm forever recommending them to people because they actually changed my life!
What do you think of the cutest Tangle Teezer collaboration yet?

Love Carex

- Sponsored Content -

Until I moved into my own home last year I didn't really give a second thought to hand wash, however now I'm always on the hunt for pretty bottles to sit on my bathroom sink. I'm quite fussy when it comes to scents too, they either need to be sweet or fruity so when I discovered the Carex Fun Edition range I was in my element. The Cola Bottle one is up there as my most loved hand wash, the sweet, fizzy fragrance is surprisingly refreshing. Another reason why I like Carex hand wash so much is the fact that they are so moisturising yet still kill 99.9% of bacteria so I know my hands are squeaky clean, but still super soft too. All Carex products are dermatologically tested by experts to ensure our hands are cleansed & protected.

Recently I went down to the 'Love Carex' event held at Mr Simms Sweet Shop in Liverpool ONE to celebrate the launch of the Fun Edition Love Hearts Hand Wash that hit the stores in June. Obviously I was really excited about the new hand wash as I love all things pink, cute & girly, plus Love Hearts are one of my fave sweeties so it is literally perfect for me!
With the new hand wash being inspired by the retro Love Heart candy hosting the event at Mr Simms was the ideal location. The store was decorated with eye-catching window displays & sweetie displays to create some excitement and to highlight the fun side of Carex. Customers had the opportunity to pose for a photo with the selfie frame & could take home a free bottle of the Love Hearts hand wash if they spent over £3 in store.

The new Fun Edition Love Hearts Hand Wash can be found in Tesco for £1.40 a bottle, will you be picking one up? I know I'll be stocking up, I need an unlimited supply it's so good!

Have you tried any of the Carex Fun Edition products?

Whats In My August Makeup Bag

UK Beauty Blogger, UK Blogger, Liverpool Beauty Blogger, August Makeup Bag, Beauty Blogger,
It's time to show you all what's been lurking inside my everyday makeup bag throughout the month of August. There are some new products & some all time favourites, rediscovering makeup items is always a good feeling!

The foundation I'm using the most is the L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation that you may recognise from my July Favourites. Another item that featured in my favourites is the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer, it's a cream formula & infused with Coconut Water that helps keep skin moisturised. I'm really enjoying the combination of the light coverage foundation & the concealer to give me extra coverage where needed. I've finally got my hands on NARS Orgasm Blush & I only wish I had picked it up sooner. It's such a beautiful warm pink with golden shimmer through it that adds a pop of colour & glow to my cheeks.

A long time favourite is the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, that I've been using on & off since I was about 15. I always find myself coming back to this stuff, it's only £4 & is one of the best powders I've tried. Another product that has remained in my makeup bag for what feels like forever is the ABH Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown. I reckon this is always going to be a staple of mine! I have however added another brow product into my routine, the Eyeko Brow Gel* this just ensures my brows don't budge at all, sometimes I end up with half brow by the end of the day otherwise. Another Eyeko item has joined my makeup bag this month, the Eye-Do Mascara*, designed by Alexa Chung herself. The brush on this is insane, which creates big, fluttery lashes for me, love it!

If I've been in an eyeshadow wearing mood I've chosen to use my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, which I'm ashamed to admit has been very neglected. I'm so glad I rediscovered it because I'd somehow forgotten how buttery soft & pigmented UD shadows are, it's such a beautiful taupe toned palette. And, as always I wouldn't be without liquid eyeliner, I've become obsessed with Tarte Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner. It's dual ended, with a kohl pencil at one end & the other end being the liquid liner. I mostly use the liquid liner but it's really handy having the kohl option there too if I want a more intense eye look. Wearing lipstick isn't a regular occurrence for me, although I do have an excessive amount of them so I should probably take advantage of my stash more often. On the occasions that I have wanted to wear a lip colour I've gone for Tarte's Creamy Matte Lip Paint in tbt, a neutral shade with mauve undertones.

Bathroom Beauty Picks

My bathroom cupboards are overflowing with shampoos, shower gels & scrubs, yet I haven't ever shared a bathroom style post before. I change up haircare products all of the time & I rarely have the same shower gel twice in a row (unless it's Christmas & then I have an endless supply of Snow Fairy) so I thought I'd show you all what I'm currently using.

Let's start with Shampoo & Conditioner, as that is the first thing I reach for when I hop in the shower. The duo I'm using at the moment is the Diamond Dust* range from label.m, a range that has a unique blend that includes real diamonds! My hair is left feeling seriously silky soft & as though it has been washed at a salon when I use these. Before, during & after washing my hair I comb it through using my Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash Detangling Hairbrush*, it's an absolute life saviour as my hair always knots up otherwise. It's a must have for us girls with thick, frizzy hair as it helps to keep it manageable when products have been massaged in & turned my locks into a tangled mess!

Once my hair is squeaky clean I move onto exfoliating my body. I do this around two times a week to keep my skin smooth & flake-free, otherwise I skip this step & grab my shower gel. I have so many body scrubs on the go at the moment but sometimes I want a gentle one, other days my skin is in need of a bit more TLC so a harsher scrub is required. A scrub thats a good happy medium is the LUSH Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub, a bright blue sea-salt exfoliator. My shower gel of choice is the Balance Me Super Moisturising Body Wash, a luxuriously soft wash that gives my skin a hit of hydration.
Sometimes before I step out the shower I will use the St. Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan (review) which develops into a light tan, perfect for my pasty complexion. It's a bit of a pain having to stand around for 3 minutes before you can wash it off but I love the glow it provides me with so it's worth the wait!

If I use the St. Tropez Tan then I often skip my moisturiser as it's enriched with sweet Almond oil my skin always feels suitably soft. Again, like my extortionate stash of body scrubs I seem to have a similar amount of body butters & lotions so I change them up depending on my mood! My most used at the moment is the & Other Stories Belleville Bakery Body Souffle which annoyingly I picked up in the sale & can no longer find. I'm so sad it's been discontinued because it's such a lovely lightweight moisturiser it's a dream to use. Oh & the fragrance is to die for if you're a fan of sweet smells!

I've also included the Zoella Le Fizz bar from her latest collection, Sweet Inspirations because if I choose to have a bath I'll often throw in a few squares of this bar. It doesn't add a lot of bubbles to my bath but it makes the water soft & lightly scented, which is nice when you don't want something too overpowering.

What are your bathroom beauty picks?

Eyeko Beauty Launches in M&S

UK Beauty Blogger, Liverpool Beauty Blogger, Eyeko Beauty, Eyeko Launches in M&S,
Eyeko is the award-winning go-to brand for eye makeup, so when I was recently asked to meet up with them I jumped at the chance. Having only tried their Mascara & Eyeliner before I was keen to see the other products that Eyeko have to offer. Being a big fan of long lashes & cat flick liner I was excited to have a one-to-one appointment with Eyeko's head makeup artist to discover more about them & take a closer look at the products. Eyeko have recently launched counters in Marks & Spencer Beauty Hall, whenever I'm in M&S I always find myself heading to the beauty department, so I can't wait to see the new stand when I next pop in to Liverpool City Centre.
One thing that is unique to Eyeko is their no-waste squeeze mascara tubes, which is such a genius idea & one that should be rolled out by every brand! The Black Magic Mascara* has a curved brush to lift, curl & add volume to your lashes in just one coat. It has an extreme carbon black finish & a water-resistant, long lasting formula so there is no flaking or smudging.
The Black Magic Eyeliner* is a seriously pigmented liquid liner, it's intense colour pay-off makes it effortless to use & fool-proof with its precision brush tip. The formula features widelash, a tripetide blend to aid lash growth by enhancing both length & volume by up to 3 times. A little trick we were taught by the ladies from Eyeko was that the brush tip is actually removable, it can be turned around to release more liner when you think you're running out. There you go, a handy little makeup hack for you!

I'm not much of a sporty person so wasn't really intrigued by the Eyeko Sport Waterproof Eyeliner* at first, as I just didn't think it was a necessary product for me. However when I was told it doesn't budge all day long & is sweat-proof I suddenly became interested! Long lasting products are important for me when I'm doing a full shift at work, I want my makeup to stay in place for as long as possible. Together with the Eyeko Sport Waterproof Mascara* I've got a dream team combination! Both products are 100% Water-Proof, Sweat-Proof & Smudge-Proof, with pitch black pigmentation.
I don't often use Brow Gels as the ones I've tried in the past tend to leave my brows feeling crunchy & nobody likes a crispy brow, well I don't anyway! Eyeko Brow Gel* has a small brush, shaped so it can sweep through the brows without getting the tinted gel anywhere else. It defines each individual hair to achieve a natural look, yet keeps them in place, yay for everlasting eyebrows!
Shadow sticks are my go-to product when I'm short for time but still want to wear a full makeup look. Eyeko's Me & My Shadow Liners* are housed in a dual-ended stick, with one end being the product & the other a handy little brush. I usually smudge shadow sticks with my fingers in an effort to save time but then end up getting the excess product everywhere, so the brush is a life saviour! I can now blend blend blend quickly & easily. The Taupe shade I have pictured above is such a beautiful colour, it glides on & doesn't need a primer either as the Vitamin E enriched pigment adheres to the eyelids.

I bet you're all thinking how on earth are these products removed if they have the super staying power & intense pigmentation? Eyeko have their very own makeup remover, Mascara Off* which are 100% cotton wipes infused with Olive Oil, Aloe Vera & Grapefruit. By holding the wipes over your eyes for 5-10 seconds the ingredients soften the makeup to gently remove all traces of your mascara & eyeliner.

All my new products were given to me in the amazing 'Everything Goes With Black Mascara'* bag, I'm obsessed with the Eyeko eye print & the slogan on the reverse side is so true. It's an ideal size to hold all of my makeup essentials, it will be definitely be coming along with me on my next trip!

Will you be checking out your local M&S Eyeko counter?

The Libbie Club Subscription Box

uk beauty blogger, liverpool beauty blogger, libbie club subscription box, libbie club august box, beauty subscription box,
The Libbie Club is a monthly beauty subscription box in which you receive 3 full sized products for a one-off joining fee of £35. As a Libbie member you try out the products you receive, write a review on them & then hopefully influence your friends & family to give the products a go, meaning you secure next months box.

I have combined both July & August's products in the photo as I didn't have the chance to share July's box. I thought it would be a good idea to show you though as you can see the wide range of full sized products I've received so far. In August's box I received a Nizz Cosmetics Lustre Lipstick, Indeed Labs Nanoblur & Mizon Placenta Ampoule Cream with the boxes focus being on protecting & perfecting your skin for Summer.

First up is the Mizon Placenta Ampoule Cream, a hydrating & anti-ageing cream. I have to admit the word 'Placenta' threw me off a little but after reading up on it I was relieved to see its not animal but in fact nutrient-rich plant placenta. It's used to promote skin regeneration as well as help to hide any existing lines. The Hyaluronic Acid & Trehalose help your skin to absorb & retain moisture, so my skin has been feeling super soft recently!
If you fancy trying out Mizon Placenta Ampoule Cream (50ml) then you can currently purchase it with 20% off, making it £20.40.

Next is the Indeed Labs Nanoblur, I've been using this straight after moisturising my skin as a primer for my makeup to sit on. It has similar properties to the Mizon Cream but rather than hydrating skin it aims to smooth out the complexion & reduce the size of pores. I absolutely love this stuff, after applying it my pores are dramatically smaller in size & my skin looks & feels a lot fresher. It gives my skin a flawless appearance, giving me a much needed confidence boost.
Indeed Labs Nanoblur (30ml) is available for £16.99, which is 15% off the RRP & in my opinion well worth it!

Finally, the third item in the box is the Nizz Lustre Lipstick, a beautifully soft lip product, with perfect application & a lovely creamy finish. The blend of fair trade butter, oils & waxes that they are made from nourish & protect the lips, so not only are you getting a lip colour but a lip balm too. Mocha Nude is a perfect everyday shade for me, it's highly pigmented meaning the colour pay-off is achievable in one application. These lipsticks are extremely high quality as they are vegetarian, hypo-allergenic & paraben-free - natural products are always a winner in my eyes!
Pick up a Nizz Cosmetics Lustre Lipstick for £16, there are 3 pretty shades to choose from, Mocha Nude, Cashmere Nude & Rose Nude.

There are also plenty of other discounts over on My Libbie Page, such as 30% off a Magnitone Barefaced! Cleansing Brush, go have a look & see if you fancy snapping up a deal or two!

Will you be signing up to Libbie Club or be treating yourself to any of this months products?

July Favourites

My favourites are pretty minimal this month, it's been a busy one not giving me much chance to try anything new really.

My lovely friend, Becca, gifted me the Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer which recently launched as part of their Fall 2016 collection! I have the shade 'Fair' which is a perfect match for me & my pale complexion. It blends beautifully, instantly hiding my imperfections & dark circles providing me with flawless coverage.

The L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation has not left my face in the whole of July (obviously I've removed it before bedtime though...) it's everything I look for in a base product & more. Cushion Foundations are pretty new to the market but most people seem to be loving them & I certainly do. You literally tap your makeup brush into the 'cushion' which is a sponge filled with product & apply it to your face. The formula is very light but extremely buildable so you can easily achieve the coverage you desire.

Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Cream has been my go-to moisturiser of the month. It's light, sinks in quickly & has a lovely sweet Vanilla & Almond fragrance. I'm also obsessed with the packaging, so simple yet really attractive looking - especially in blog photos ;)

Tartelette Tease Clay Palette is another gift from Becca, aren't I a lucky girl! It houses six dreamy eyeshadows, ranging from a light pink to a plum with a couple of shimmer shades as well as matte ones. It's the perfect palette to pop in your travel bag as it's pocket sized & contains enough pretty shades to create a look for every occasion.

It's a well known fact that I'm pretty damn lazy when it comes to moisturising my body. I mean I wish I wasn't but when I've just hopped out of the shower the last thing I want to be doing is freezing my butt off whilst I rub moisturiser everywhere. I received the Cowshed Wild Cow Invigorating Body Lotion in my July Libbie Box (I'll be popping up a post soon!) & I've actually become a big fan of moisturising thanks to this. It is such a refreshing lotion that as soon as I apply it I want to keep on applying it, I can't get enough of the fresh Lemongrass fragrance & the way it makes my skin feel revitalised.

And, finally I have been loving my Rose Gold Eyelash Curlers from good ol' Primark. At only £1 they're a huge bargain & an Instagrammable bargain at that! These work a treat & give my lashes a perfect curl.

What are your July Favourites?

Whats In My June Makeup Bag

UK Beauty Blogger, Liverpool Beauty Blogger, Makeup, Beauty, June Makeup Bag, Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot, Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation,
You know when you stumble across a blog you absolutely love from the moment you lay eyes on it & then end up scrolling for hours, reading as many posts as possible? I found myself doing that with Sally's blog (The Makeup Directory) recently & wanted to share the love! Each month Sally writes about what can be found in her makeup bag, here is her latest one, Whats In My June Makeup Bag. I've been completely inspired by her to share what is in mine too but of course I wanted to thank Sally for the post idea first before sharing my makeup picks for the month of June.

I love switching up my makeup routine every now & again, I don't have a huge beauty collection really but I do have a bit of a variety compared to most people I know & often forget to have a rummage through my stash. I've had lots of new, exciting makeup products recently though which has pushed me to play around a little more & actually use my pretty products instead of keeping them for 'best'. I mean, I may as well as enjoy them instead of simply admiring them!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation - This is the base I've been reaching for the most throughout June, oh how I love this stuff. It transforms my skin from being tired & lacklustre into perfection, not only because it blends beautifully & conceals my imperfections it is also the best match for my skin tone. The Magic Foundation is available in every shade you can imagine & the girls at the Covent Garden Store are amazing at finding the right shade for you, mine obviously being the palest shade they do.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer - IT Cosmetics is a big fave with Vivianna & has quickly become a big fave with me too! The concealer is extremely thick, yet still very blendable, enabling my under eye circles to become non-existent in a matter of moments.

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Contour Palette - I've never been in to contouring as I was scared I'd end up making myself into a muddy-looking mess but recently I've been watching endless tutorials & plucked up the courage to give it a go. It's safe to say I've been converted & it's actually become my favourite step in my makeup routine. This little L'Oreal palette is amazing, the cream to powder formula is fool-proof & it includes a little diagram showing me where to put the product on my face so I can't really go wrong.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade - As always, I've been using my beloved ABH Dipbrow Pomade on my brows. I use the shade Medium Brown which I find is ideal for my ash toned brows. The one downfall this product has is that it is beginning to dry up so it's not as easy to use anymore, has anyone got any tips on how to rectify this?

The Balm NUDE'tude Nude Eyeshadow Palette - Nude Eyeshadow palettes are my weakness, I have quite the collection but I can never say no to a new one. NUDE'tude from The Balm is such a fun, pretty neutrals palette, I get use out of all the shades but my top three are Selfish, Sophisticated & Stand-Offish.

L'Oreal Paris SuperLiner - It's very rare I go without liquid eyeliner if I'm doing a full face of makeup, I find I look strange if I only wear mascara. If you've been a reader of my blog for a long time you'll also know I'm never without the L'Oreal Superliner. To be honest I haven't even tried a huge range of liquid eyeliners because I know this one works for me I don't want to stray away from it & experience any eyeliner disasters!

Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Extreme - When I first started experimenting with makeup I was obsessed with a dual-ended mascara from Rimmel, with one end being a primer to coat & thicken your lashes before you applied the actual mascara. The Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Extreme mascara is a similar concept as it has two products that work together to enhance your lashes. This makes SUCH a difference to my eyelashes, it gives them extra length & thickness thanks to the Nylon fibres that grip on to my lashes to extend them. I love love love this mascara, my eyelashes have never looked so thick & full & I'm pretty lucky to be graced with decent lashes anyway.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder - This powder is my current most-loved finishing product, it sets my makeup into place, blotting out any traces of oil to ensure my makeup doesn't budge all day. It's weightless too so I don't feel like my face is weighed down with another layer of makeup.

Makeup Revolution Lip Euphoria - MUR Lip Euphorias are super comfortable to wear with insane pigmentation levels, I'm so impressed by these! They're buttery soft & creamy to apply & the lasting power is crazy good too & they're pretty much the bargain of the Century at £3 a pop. I wear the shade Fortune if I'm feeling a little more fancy, I love a good berry lip shade & this is right up my street colour wise!

What has been in your makeup bag this month?

May Favourites

A little later than usual but here we are with my favourite products from the month of May, I've been busy, busy busy recently but it feels good to sit down & blog! I went to stay at Beccas house over the weekend & took advantage of her beautiful set up to shoot some blog photos, which is why they may look a little different from my usual ones.

I'm a big fan of Antipodes Skincare & have recently really been loving the Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser. The formula is unlike any other cleansers I have used before as it's quite thin & as it's a liquid gel rather than a balm or cream but it still removes makeup effortlessly. It gives my skin a really fresh, glowing appearance & the Manuka Honey and Vinanza Grape keeps blemishes to a minimum.

As I mentioned in my Rosie for Autograph blog post, I absolutely loved the Eyeshadow Stick in Feline Fox so theres no surprises here to see it featured in my monthly faves! I'm obsessed with the colour of it & really love that I can use it for a quick wash of colour or layer it up for a more intense look.  If I've got more time on my hands then I've been reaching for Rosie's Eyeshadow Palette in Ballet Slipper instead, or using a combination of both products. It's my perfect everyday palette & I've been travelling quite a bit recently too so it's become my staple travel palette.

After my NARs Sheer Glow Foundation (review here) ran out I wanted to try a new high end foundation, in the end I chose the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation & I'm so glad I did. It transforms my skin into everything I could wish for in a Foundation, it perfects my skin in a way I've never experienced before. It's weightless yet provides full coverage, hides my imperfections effortlessly & gives me a flawless base. I'm going to have to do a full review on it because there is so much more to tell you about!

Just a few favourites from the month of May, the other beauty items in the photograph were used as props as Becca allowed me to rummage through her insane makeup collection & let me use whatever I fancied! The H&M blush & eyeshadows are beautiful though so I'm sure you'll be seeing more of them around on here. What were your favourite beauty products in May?

Rosie for Autograph Makeup

rosie for autograph makeup review, bblogger, rosie huntington whiteley, uk beauty blogger, liverpool beauty blogger,
Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has collaborated again with M&S to release her very own cosmetic collection & she has done it in the most beautiful way. Dreamy rose gold packaging, dainty floral detailing & natural shades all make for an absolutely stunning range.

I've been trying out some of the products & I'm finally ready to report back to you all, singing all of the positive praise for these beauties...

Miracle Concealer '2' - £14.00* This concealer has quite literally been a miracle worker for my under eye circles. As it's yellow toned it's great at hiding the darker tones that surround my tired eyes. It's creamy yet turns to a chalky, powder style product once it is blended in. Contained in bullet style packaging makes it travel friendly & convenient to pop in your handbag.
rosie for autograph makeup review, bblogger, rosie huntington whiteley, uk beauty blogger, liverpool beauty blogger,
Cream Blush 'Natures Blush - £14.00* This Cream Blush is a beautiful, bright, Coral shade ideal for a Summer makeup look. The cream formulation is silky soft, which turns to a powder finish on application. The pigmentation of this blusher is amazing, I was a bit heavy handed at first, expecting the product to disappear into my foundation so was very generous with the amount I used. Luckily it blends in easily, so my mishap was easily fixed & I was left with a lovely subtle pop of colour on the apple of my cheeks. A little definitely goes a long way so this pretty palette should last me a long time!
rosie for autograph makeup review, bblogger, rosie huntington whiteley, uk beauty blogger, liverpool beauty blogger,
Liquid Eyeliner 'Intense Black' - £14.00* A thin felt tip style liquid eyeliner that provides precise application. I am able to draw on a line of eyeliner without any wiggly mistakes, it dries quickly so I don't get that dreaded smudged line on my eyelid either.  Its a deep black colour which is what I always opt for, I'm not a fan of dull, grey toned liquid eyeliners & it's long-lasting too so it ticks all of the boxes for me!

Cream Eyeshadow Stick 'Feline Fox' - £12.50* My favourite product out of the lot, a velvety soft eyeshadow stick in a wearable shimmery taupe brown shade. It glides across my eyelid smoothly & blends easily with both a brush or my fingers, I have been scribbling it on all over the lower part of my eyelid & then blending it out. It's crease resistant too & really comfortable to wear. It's such an easy to use eye makeup product & perfect to use if you're in a hurry as it's so effortless to apply & blends like a dream.

Eyeshadow Quad 'Ballet Slipper' - £18.00* I would describe this quad as the perfect everyday eyeshadow palette. The four shades are great for creating a smokey eye look or just keeping it simple, there are so many options with it. My favourite way to wear this palette is to apply the brown shade all over my eyelid & then sweep the peachy, rose toned (bottom right) shadow on top. I then brush a tiny amount of the black underneath my lower lashes & use the light nude shade to highlight in the corner of my eyes. The eyeshadows are all equally as beautiful, each one with a hint of shimmer, my most-loved eyeshadow finish as they seem to be more fool-proof than matte shades.

Lipstick 'I Love You So Much ILYSM' - £14.00* When I first took the lid of this lipstick my instant thought was wow! It's a bold pink lipstick which seems quite scary to me as they aren't my first lip colour choice but it is such a pretty colour I have given it a go anyway. The lipstick has a really creamy formula & contains Argan Oil to help nourish & hydrate your lips.
rosie for autograph makeup review, bblogger, rosie huntington whiteley, uk beauty blogger, liverpool beauty blogger,
Bronzer 'Magic Contour' - £18.00* I have finally found a bronzer that is the right shade for me, being so pale they can often look muddy on my complexion but this one is great for my fair skin. The matte powder gives me a natural, much needed, sun-kissed glow without being too harsh.

April Favourites

April Beauty Favourites 2016, UK Beauty Blogger, Liverpool Beauty Blogger,
I love a favourites post but I often feel mine are kinda boring because I don't have new products to use each week which is why I just do them whenever instead of religiously every month! Heres my round-up of a few of my most loved products from the month of April...

Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream* has got to be the nicest moisturiser I've used for a long time. My evening skincare routine is quite simple at the moment, I double cleanse, tone & moisturise as my skin is having a bit of a funny spell I don't want to overload it with a million different products. The Avocado Pear night cream is not only nourishing but also soothing, I always wake up with fresh, dewy feeling skin in the morning.

I'm a big fan of the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer & rarely steer away from it as I swear by it but change is good sometimes & being a beauty blogger I do love to try out new makeup whenever I get the chance. I've been using the Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer* which is a duo creamy concealer with a setting powder. The left side of the pot is the under eye brightening concealer & the right side is to conceal blemishes & imperfections. I can really notice a difference when I use this to hide the dark circles around my eyes, it has a nice consistency which blends easily to conceal the dark tones. I was a little nervous to use it as it's quite orange toned & I'm so pale I was convinced it would be the wrong shade for me.

When I spotted the Essie Retro Revival Collection in Boots, I knew I wouldn't be leaving the stand empty handed, I chose Cabana Boy a beautiful pearl nude shade. This is so pretty on my nails, I've hardly worn any other colours & I've had so many compliments on it too. It's such a dreamy kinda shade with it's pearlescent finish & as you might already know Essie are my all time fave nail polish, they apply so well & resist chips for ages.

LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub has been my complete life saviour recently. As I mentioned above my skin is being quite strange, it's been quite oily which is new for me as it's usually dry, however my lips have been drier than ever. They have been so chapped & sore, they looked really really awful, I've been applying lip balms more than ever & trying to increase my daily intake of water. The Bubblegum Lip Scrub is so so good, it removes dead skin gently yet efficiently leaving my lips feeling a whole lot better. I can't resist the taste of this either, a little sweet treat for my lips.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Blush Eau De Toilette is the newest addition to my Marc Jacobs perfume collection, I'm obsessed with the pretty bottles & lovely fragrances, one day I shall own them all... Blush is the perfect fragrance for Spring, it's fresh, light & slightly floral making it ideal for the warmer weather (ha, it basically snowed here in Liverpool last week but hey we are meant to have a heatwave this weekend!!) as it's not at all overpowering. It's beautifully delicate & feminine & has been the only fragrance I've reached for this month.

Tangle Teezer Pug Love

Tangle Teezer Pug Love Compact Styler
Tangle Teezer have launched a brand new design 'Pug Love' to their Compact Styler range which I was lucky enough to be gifted when I attended their Puppy Party! I was able to take Tilly & Lulu down to London with me for Afternoon Tea at the Milestone Hotel & got to hang out with Tangle Teezers very own office Dog, Nala the Pug. Without a doubt it was my favourite event I've ever attended, Pugs, Tea, Cakes, the lovely PR girls from Tangle Teezer & Pets Pyjamas make the perfect combination for a party! I also had the absolute pleasure of meeting Becca & her handsome Pug Rupert, I've watched Becca on YouTube for years now so it was really nice to meet her & discuss the ridiculous amount of love we have for our little squishes!
I did a photoshoot with Tilly & Lulu to show off the new Pug Love teezer, Tilly being the best poser of the two! Lulu kept running off but Tilly will happily sit & pose for the camera as long as there is a treat in my hand... #BritainsNextTopPugModel
Tangle Teezer Pug Love, Tilly Lulu Pugs,
Tangle Teezer Pug Love, Tilly Lulu Pugs,
I first discovered Tangle Teezer when I started getting into haircare, I was so fed up of struggling to get a brush through my thick, frizzy hair that becoming a Tangle Teezer owner was one of the best beauty decisions I made. It felt like a miracle had happened to be able to brush through my knots with ease & not wince at the pain of brushing them out. I ended up telling my mum to buy one for my little sister, Leah, who suffered from a very sensitive scalp which made brushing her hair a nightmare. Whilst she is still head sore Tangle Teezer has been life changing by enabling her to brush her hair pain free! I've got two of The Original hairbrushes, a purple glitter one & the newest addition I received at Christmas from Dom, the Candyfloss one which is so pretty, but sadly both are unavailable now. Dom is forever stealing my Tangle Teezer & it seems I'm not the only one having it "borrowed", I didn't even know their was a Male version available until we were discussing how often our brushes go walkies. Now Dom is the proud owner of his very own Men's Compact Tangle Teezer Groomer I don't need to spend half my morning running around the house for my missing one!
Tangle Teezer Pug Love Compact Styler
The Pug Love design is available in the Compact Styler range, slightly smaller than The Original with a protective cover means it's the ultimate handbag accessory. The cute Pug faces wearing little pink bows are absolutely adorable and it's almost as if it has been made for me! I know this is going to be popular amongst Pug lovers, we all go crazy for anything with a Pug on & with this being so cute but also useful it'll be a big hit. In fact I've already convinced a few fellow Pug owners to buy themselves one & you should to! It's currently an online exclusive that you can buy here.
Tangle Teezer Pug Love, Tilly Lulu Pugs,

Will you be getting your paws on the Pug Love Compact Styler?

New In From Soap & Glory

One Saturday morning a few weeks ago, myself, Dom & the Pugs were having a lazy lie in when the postman knocked at our front door. Dom being the best boyfriend he is hurried out of bed to collect the post & delivered a big pink box from Soap & Glory to my bedside. Inside the box was Soap & Glory's latest PR package to promote the newest additions to their cosmetic range. They have created a board game called Glam Slam, remember Dream Phone from the 90s, well Glam Slam is similar - only it's even better with it having a makeup theme! I received four lovely makeup items in my pretty pink package, a brow product, two lip products & a highlighter. I'm a huge fan of Soap & Glory makeup so I knew I was going to love giving these new items a go, being gifted items from one of my most loved beauty brands feels kinda crazy but so cool at the same time! I'm forever grateful for all the opportunities this lil old blog of mine has given me.
Soap & Glory have updated the original Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Plumping Gloss by reformulating it & adding three new shades to the collection. I got the shade 'Doughnut' a nice neutral nude shade. It gives off a bit of a tingle when you apply it thanks to the new formula that includes an infusion of natural plant oil to help your lips feel instantly fuller. It applies really smoothly too & has a chocolate orange fragrance which is divine!
The second lip product in my box was the brand new Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip in . The creamy matte lip pencil glides on smoothly & defines my natural lip shape easily because of the way the bullet is sculpted. It's velvety soft with a really intense colour pay off, a single stroke of this stuff & you're good to go! They're a bit of a bargain too priced at only £3.50, I'll be popping a couple of other shades in my basket next time I'm in Boots.
The Archery range is a well loved product collection in the beauty blogosphere, so it's no surprise really to see S&G have expanded on it & introduced three new brow products. New to the range is a brow gel, brow putty & a brow crayon, I received the Archery Brow Putty Dip Pot & Brush which is a nifty little creation. The angled brush is ideal for precision shaping & filling brows with the brow putty that is contained in a handy dipping pot at the other end of the brush. Brownie Points is a perfect medium brown shade match for my eyebrows, the ashy tones ensure they don't look too harsh or over the top. I like how convenient this brow product is, a staple in my travel makeup bag for sure & I'll be keeping it in my handbag too incase I need to tame my brows throughout the day!
And last but definitely not least, the final product I've been trying out is the Glow All Out Highlight & Sculpt Cheek Stick. A gorgeous highlighter in a shimmery champagne colour that looks super beautiful swept above cheekbones & across the brow bone. A quick & easy way to add a pop of glow where your face naturally catches the sun, simply twist up the product, dab it on to your skin & smooth over with your fingertips. There is also a blush & bronze stick too to complete your contour with.

What is your favourite item from Soap & Glory? Let me know in the comments below!
