Valentines Gift Ideas from ToxicFox

With Valentines Day just around the corner I thought I'd share some gifts that were kindly picked out for me from ToxicFox.co.uk. Wrapped up in a Strawberry printed paper, the candy colour scheme & the red bow tied around the box compliment the bath treats hiding inside. It's filled with a mini pastel bath bomb, a big bath blaster, a floral bath buttercup and a cupcake shaped bath mallow adorned with a Strawberry, plus a slice of soap. The Strawberry scent isn't too sickly or overpowering either, it's just the right amount of fruity sweetness with a a likeness to Strawberries & Cream. It's a perfect gift for me as I'm obsessed with pretty bath related products, as most of us bloggers seem to be! 
The second gift was a Selfie Stick, (a pink one!) which seemed to be the most popular Christmas gift of 2014 according to my Social Media feeds over the festive period! It also seems that you either love them or hate them & I'm actually really pleased I've been able to try one out because we took it over to our friends house at the weekend & managed to get a few group shots of us & our puppies which would never have happened without it! They're a bit of a fun & provide the perfect opportunity to snap selfies whenever & wherever, I can't wait to take it to Paris & get a selfie with the Eiffel Tower haha!

I love seeing Valentines gifts in the shops, probably because I think hearts are really cute & my flat has loads of little heart decorations hanging around! Anything pink & girly really appeals to me so I get a bit obsessive over all the Valentines stuff, even if I just nip to Sainsburys I can't resist having a look at the gifts available! Also I swear everything becomes really adorable & cutesy, look at the Pug heart cushion it's so so sweet. Dom & I never do anything ridiculously romantic for Valentines but we use it as an excuse to cook our favourite meal & buy a few little treats, because why not!? Even if you don't like Valentines day you could have a girly day with your best friends, get some yummy chocolates, loads of films & have a pamper session. Valentines Day doesn't just have to be for couples (:

Lush Valentine's Day Collection

My blog has been like a little shrine to Lush products recently, I seem to be developing a serious addiction. There is nothing better than having a hot bubble bath when it's so cold outside though!! The newest range of products to be released by Lush is the Valentine's Day collection. The product that I was first drawn to was the Prince Charming Shower Gel, I can imagine it smelling amazing, mixed with marshmallow, vanilla, pomegranate, grapefruit & sandalwood it sounds as if it will be my ideal scent! Close To You Massage Bar looks like a pastel version of the yummy biscuit Jammie Dodgers, fragranced with Vanilla it's another product I'm hoping to try out. Love Locket Bath Bomb is an adorable heart shaped bomb inspired by heart shaped lockets you'd wear with a photograph of a loved one inside, a cute idea but the price did shock me, almost £7 for a bath bomb is a little crazy in my opinion! The gift sets would be lovely if you're struggling for Valentine's inspiration this year, hint hint Dom if you're reading this...

With Valentines Day around the corner I thought I would have a little look at what the shops are offering this year. I know some people think it's a silly day, but I quite like having another excuse to treat Dom! We usually give each other handmade gifts, which I personally prefer, although we often get a little extra something too. My favourite thing from my picks is the Blue Nose pug teddy, it's so adorable! I also love love love the gold heart locket & the LUSH bath goodies. If Dom & I lived together I would decorate the place with the red heart bunting, burn lots of tea lights & cook our favourite meal. I don't really think we are a soppy couple but every now & again it's nice to do something a bit different from usual!
